Thank you cards

I just bought this Bee stamp today at Monkey Business and used it to make some thank you cards.
All the products in these two cards are Close to my Heart. The pink card is the "Sophia" paper and the blue card is the "Miracle" paper. The stamp set is exclusive to the Sophia Workshop on the Go.

Mosaic Moments Layout! 13 Pictures in ! Layout!

Bob and I went to Alex Bay for our One Year Wedding Anniversary. Alex Bay is better known as The 1,000 Islands. It is in New York and typically in the first week of September the weather is still summer-like but on this particular weekend it is freezing but we still had a great time. It is beautiful no matter what season you go there. The town pretty much shuts down during the winter months. We did the whole camping thing, cooked out for most of our meals, took walks on the water etc. Anyway this was my first Mosaic Layout. It was a little challenging but I really like the way it turned out. I can't believe I was able to get 13 pictures on a one page layout. I hope you all like it as much as I do.

Hope For Japan

Visit http://www.brigid.myctmh.com/ to get your "Hope" stamp set to support a great cause!

Welcome to my Blog!

Hello everyone! I figured starting a blog would be a fun and easy way for me to update everyone about what is going on in my world and keep you posted on Close to my Heart specials and upcoming events I am having. Right now I don't have any events but Close to my Heart has a few deals going on! Gotta love deals! Check out the "While Supplies Lasts" deals on my website as well as the "Hope" stamp set. The Hope stamp set is an A-size stamp which is at a reduced price of $5.00 and 100% of the profits go towards the American Red Cross efforts in Japan. A great way to support a great cause!
As for me... Most of you know I just underwent brain surgery for Trigeminal Neuralgia on March 16th. I am going well and trying to get back in the swing of things. Unfortunately I do not think my surgery was successful but they say give it time so I am hoping they (the Dr's) know best. I am still having the facial pains but only time and God know what is in store for me next. Right now I am trying to stay positive but also looking into what other options are out there. Since I am still recovering from my surgery other options are still out of the question but please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
Since I'm new to the whole "Blogging" I will probably just start by posting some recent cards, layouts and Close to my Heart specials and keep the journaling to a minimum but if there is something you want to know more about feel free to comment or send me a message.
Thanks for visiting my blog. Take care, Brigid
